First Time Zipper? Start Here!

Congratulations! You’ve made the bold, adventurous, and thrilling choice to visit Tree to Tree.

Awesome decision!

I’m sure that you’ve got quite a few questions. Let’s talk.

What did I get myself into? The most exciting way to spend 2-3 hours in South Jersey!  You’ll cross wobbly bridges, cargo nets, tarzan swings, and of course, some ziplines!

Will you be in the trees with me the whole time? We’ll have our highly trained guides patrolling from the ground, cheering you on, and helping you out the whole time!  But, no, we won’t be in the trees with you.  When you arrive at Tree to Tree, you’ll complete a 20-30 minute orientation session, where our guides will teach you all about our safety gear and how to use it, help you properly harness up, and lead you through our demo course.  Next, you’ll work your way through the demo course, with our guides watching to make sure that you understand how to do everything properly, and that you’re comfortable. Once you’re all set, they’ll send you over to the aerial obstacle course to get started!

Will my whole group go together? Maybe. It all depends on the height that the members of your group can reach to, and their ages (Check here for more details!)

If you all meet the height and age requirements for the adult’s course, you’ll all be together (assuming your reservation is at the same time!).  If your group is a mix of adults and kids, you’ll be going on separate courses. We know it can be frustrating to have different members of your group on different courses, but we do it this way for a few reasons:

(1) The cable on the kid’s courses are lower than the cables on the adult’s courses.  Tree to Tree is designed very intentionally so that each participant can control their own adventure.  The kid’s cable is lower so that our younger adventurers can move themselves to the next element on the course, get set to zipline, and swing when they’re ready! Because this cable is significantly lower, it’s not suitable for adults – plus, adults will have much more fun on the course specifically designed for them! But don’t worry – even though you can’t climb with your younger adventurers, our guides will be watching them, helping them, and cheering them on the whole time!

(2) The kid’s course and the adult’s courses are very different.  Yes, you’ll experience a lot of the same elements, but while both start around 10-15 feet off the ground, the adult’s course climbs to a top height of about 45 feet! The 4 adult’s courses get progressively higher off the ground and more challenging as you go, and our owners (who also own parks in New York and Oregon!) have done a lot of work and research to determine what ages and height reaches are, generally speaking, able to complete the different courses.

What should I do before I get there? I made you a handy checklist to help you out!

Any other questions?  Give us a call in the office.  We’re so excited that you made the choice to adventure at Tree to Tree, and we can’t wait to see you in the trees!

Adventure Village

Have you seen the Pixar Movie “Up”?  In it, a young wilderness explorer named Russel and a 78 year old lovable curmudgeon  named Carl form quite the unlikely duo as they travel to Paradise Falls, with Carl’s house in tow.  There’s countless helium balloons holding the house afloat as take an ultimate adventure to its final destination.

It’s one of my favorite animated movies.  Why, you ask? Because as you watch, you’ll see Carl’s transformation.  At the beginning, he has no sense of adventure left.  His world is grey, and he’s clearly at a loss of what to do next in his life.  Russell enters his life, and helps Carl rediscover adventure, exploring, and all the excitement that life has to offer.

Introducing Tree to Tree’s Adventure Village.  Let’s make adventure a lifestyle!

Adventure Village is the perfect place to introduce our very tiniest visitors, ages 2-8, to adventure!  It was designed and built especially for them to explore, play, and discover their sense of adventure.

No gear is required in Adventure Village.  The entire area is safely enclosed to allow for a safe way to play in the trees.  Your young explorers can test out their balance on wobbly bridges, play on the lookout platforms, or give zip lining a shot on our hand-held zip line!

Over the winter, we gave Adventure Village a little extra TLC.  Our team put cedar roofs on all of the mini tree house huts to add another layer to the adventure.

Make a reservation for your smallest explorers to visit Adventure Village!

Memorial Day

Yep, Memorial Day means it’s the Summer!  Time to break out the sunscreen and the grill.  Memorial Day also means so much more than that.  It was first celebrated in 1868 as “Decoration Day,” a day to remember the approximately 620,000 who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Civil War.

In 1971, Memorial day was officially made the National Holiday that we know it as today: a day to commemorate all the American Soldiers who have died for our country.   Here at Tree to Tree, we can’t thank those who have fought for our country enough.

We believe that the words of James Garfield at his 1868 Decoration Day Speech said it best.  “I am oppressed with a sense of the impropriety of uttering words on this occasion. If silence is ever golden, it must be here beside the graves of fifteen thousand men, whose lives were more significant than speech, and whose death was a poem, the music of which can never be sung…For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.”

Join us in the trees this weekend to celebrate your freedom.  Make your aerial obstacle course admission reservation online for 5/25-5/29 with code “MEMORIAL17” to get $9 off!
